New ACP learning series addresses impact of health equity on diagnostic decision making
Three new modules offer CME/MOC and evidence-based strategies clinicians can use to mitigate the effects of unconscious bias.
ACP has launched the “Understanding and Addressing Disparities in Diagnosis Learning Series,” which offers evidence-based strategies clinicians can use to improve diagnostic decision making by mitigating the effects of unconscious bias related to race, ethnicity, gender, and other identities, leading to improved outcomes for patients.
The new interactive education series consists of three modules that are freely available. CME/MOC credit is available for free to ACP members; nonmembers may pay $25 per module to claim CME/MOC. This learning series is funded by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation through a grant program administered by the Council of Medical Specialty Societies.
