WPSI extending public comment period on preventing obesity in midlife women

The Women's Preventive Services Initiative (WPSI) is collecting comments on a new topic, preventing obesity in midlife women, until Aug. 10.

The Women's Preventive Services Initiative (WPSI) has extended its public comment period for a new topic, preventing obesity in midlife women. Public comment is an opportunity for broad public input that increases the transparency and quality of the WPSI's program and provides an opportunity to provide feedback on the draft report, including content suggestions. The comment period for the new topic runs until Aug. 10. All comments must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. PT on the final day of the comment period. ACP is a partner organization in the WPSI, which is led by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

At the conclusion of this new topic public comment opportunity, the multidisciplinary steering committee will review the comments submitted. If the committee moves the topic forward to the recommendation development stage, they will share a draft for public comment.
