ACP joins NAM Action Collaborative in national fight against opioid epidemic

As a member of the collaborative, which includes more than 100 organizations, ACP has committed to sharing information and best practices, coordinating opioid-related efforts, and advancing new initiatives with other members.


ACP has joined the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) Action Collaborative on Countering the U.S. Opioid Epidemic, a national effort to fight the opioid crisis, which kills an estimated 130 Americans every day.

As a member of the collaborative, which includes more than 100 organizations such as community organizations, hospital and medical systems, academic institutions, nonprofits, and health professional societies, ACP has committed to sharing information and best practices, coordinating opioid-related efforts, and advancing new initiatives with other members.
