ACP announces Internal Medicine Meeting 2022 speakers

This year's meeting features keynote speaker Quinn Capers, MD, on Thursday, April 28, and plenary speakers Mukta Panda, MD, MACP, and Tammy L. Lin, MD, MPH, FACP, on Saturday, April 30.


Quinn Capers, MD, will be featured as the keynote speaker at Internal Medicine Meeting 2022: Mastering Medicine Together. Dr. Capers, associate dean for faculty diversity, vice chair for diversity and inclusion, and professor in the department of internal medicine at UT Southwestern in Dallas, will give a talk titled “(The Lack of) Diversity in Medicine is THE Primary Health Issue for the 21st Century” at the meeting's Opening Ceremony on Thursday, April 28.

On Saturday, April 30, meeting attendees can listen to plenary speakers Mukta Panda, MD, MACP, and Tammy L. Lin, MD, MPH, FACP, converse on the importance of well-being in a discussion titled “Reawaken Your Power, Reaffirm Your Value, and Reinvent the System.” Dr. Panda is assistant dean for well-being and medical student education and professor of medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga. Dr. Lin is Governor for ACP's Southern California III Chapter and an ACP Well-being Champion.
