ACP hosts webinar Dec. 9 on telemedicine for chronic disease management

The free, one-hour webinar will teach internists how to choose appropriate patients and a suitable platform to optimize remote monitoring as part of chronic disease management.

ACP will host an upcoming webinar offering practical advice from fellow internists on how to use remote patient monitoring to improve the management of patients with chronic conditions. The free, one-hour webinar will be held at 2 p.m. ET on Dec. 9.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • define appropriate segments of the patient population for these technology-enhanced interventions,
  • recognize the factors to consider when choosing a remote patient monitoring platform, and
  • optimize the fiscal viability of a remote chronic disease management program.

Tabassum Salam, MD, MBA, FACP, will moderate the discussion with a panel of practicing internists, including Christopher Aakre, MD, FACP; Michelle Griffith, MD; Claude J. Pirtle, MD, MS, FACP; and Steven Tai, MD, FACP.
