Free Feb. 12 webinar on implicit bias in interdisciplinary care

Jabraan Pasha, MD, FACP, will explore how group membership and implicit bias affect team interactions and interdisciplinary care.

In the second and final installment of the ACP Leadership Academy webinar “Implicit Bias in Teaming and Interdisciplinary Care,” Jabraan Pasha, MD, FACP, will explore how group membership and implicit bias affect team interactions and interdisciplinary care. The webinar will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 3 p.m. ET.

Implicit bias is an unconsciously held set of associations about a social group. It is called implicit because people are not always aware of the biases that they have. Dr. Pasha will look at the origins of group membership and its role in implicit bias and offer strategies to minimize its impact. This free webinar is open to all ACP members. There will be time for questions after the presentation. Click here to register.
