Tsung-Hsien Justin Lin, MD, a general internist with Renown Health in Carson City, Nev., received the contest's grand prize.

Tsung-Hsien Justin Lin, MD, a general internist with Renown Health in Carson City, Nev., has been selected as the winner of ACP's I.M. Proud contest, in which ACP asked members to describe why they were proud to be internists. Dr. Lin received the contest's grand prize, a free one-year ACP membership.

“I am proud to be an internist because we combine the art and science of medicine with humanity. We create special bonds with people, tailor the treatment plan with them, and make a genuine difference in their lives. We play a tremendous role in primary care, medical education, research, and policymaking,” Dr. Lin, an ACP Member since 2015, wrote as his winning entry.

Dr. Lin's entry was among scores received for the contest. Runners-up received ACP I.M. Proud prize packs. Visit the I.M. Proud website to see videos of ACP members sharing why they are proud to be internists. Be sure to use the hashtag #IMProud when talking about internal medicine on social media and tag @IMMattersACPs.
